If it is not in the catalogue, it can still be made

The products in this shop are the designs that have been finished, tested and repeated often enough to sell as they are. They are not the limit of what the workshop can do. A good deal of what leaves it is made once, for one person, to one set of dimensions.

Names, words, quotes and business signage at whatever size the wall needs
Light boxes sized and worded for the space they are going into
Vehicle parts designed around a specific make, model and year
Storage and mounting built around the thing being stored
Prototypes, jigs, replacement parts and one-off pieces
Engraving and laser cutting on supplied material

How it works

Tell us what you need. Plain language is fine. You do not need technical terms, drawings or a file.
We come back with a quotation. What is included, the price, and a realistic lead time. If something about the idea will not work in practice, we say so at this point rather than after you have paid.
You approve it before anything is made. Size, colour, finish and wording are all confirmed with you first.
It is made and sent. Production time and delivery time are quoted separately, so you know which part of the wait is ours.

Images, logos and your rights

Some of what we make is built from a picture or a mark you send us. These rules keep everyone on the right side of the law.

You are responsible for what you send. By uploading a picture or describing a logo or symbol, you confirm you own it or have permission to use it.
We can decline an order. We may refuse or cancel an order, with a full refund, if we believe it uses a trademark, a character, someone else's artwork or a person's likeness that we are not allowed to reproduce.
An original design instead. We are happy to create an original emblem inspired by a theme — a sports car, a motorcycle, a superhero style — at no extra cost. We do not copy official logos or characters.
Your pictures stay private. We use them only to make your order. We never publish them or show them as examples without your written permission. An uploaded picture is stored with your order record rather than in any gallery. If you want yours removed, email info@whencreate.com — we handle it through Shopify's customer data erasure process, and we will tell you what we can and cannot remove, since order records have to be kept for a period for accounting and legal reasons.
If something of yours has been used. If you believe something we have made or shown uses your work or your rights, email info@whencreate.com and we will remove it within five working days.

One thing worth knowing before you order

Because made-to-order work is produced to your own specification, it is exempt from the fourteen day right of withdrawal that applies to ordinary retail goods. This is set out in full in the refund policy, and it is exactly why we confirm every detail with you before anything is cut or printed.

What does not change is that anything faulty, damaged, or not matching the specification you approved will be put right.
